Screen Printing

The classic choice for vibrant, durable designs

Screen printing is the workhorse of custom apparel. Each color in your design becomes a stencil pressed through fine mesh, laying down thick, opaque ink that fuses with the fabric for decades of wear. It is the most cost-effective method for medium and large runs, and the result is what people picture when they think of a real printed t-shirt.

How we run it

From artwork to finished piece

  1. Step 1

    Design prep

We separate your artwork into one stencil per color.

  2. Step 2

    Screen creation

Mesh screens are coated, exposed, and washed out.

  3. Step 3

    Ink mixing

Pantone-matched inks are mixed in our shop.

  4. Step 4

    Press and cure

Garments are printed and heat-cured for a permanent bond.

Why choose this method

  • Lowest cost per piece at quantity
  • Vibrant, opaque colors on dark garments
  • Industry-leading wash durability
  • Pantone color matching available

Things to know

  • Setup cost per color makes small runs less efficient
